There is nothing quite like attending 3daysofesign and being taken in by a local. Fredericia opened again their Copenhagen showroom to us under the title Intersections, and the word earned its place: not difference, but resonance. Two cultures, Nordic and Mediterranean, reminding us that design is not only style, but a way of relating: with materials, with history, with others.

This year, we brought new work alongside classics by Gabriel Ordeig Cole, under the pretext of relaunching his book Spheres and Potatoes: Undisciplined Portrait of Gabriel Ordeig Cole.

Gira Batería and TMA arrived alongside La Bella Durmiente, Gabriel’s newest reissue. Around them, the Sísísí Cónicas Largas, Sísísí Cónicas Planas and the Sistema Fonda, all in parchment and unmistakably his. Old and new, north and south, together in the same room.
