Nuria Val, co-founder and creative director of ROWSE, and interior designer Isern Serra transformed an industrial space in central Barcelona into an open space for creation and experimentation: office, showroom, and art gallery at once.

Essentially Mediterranean, it is inspired by local architecture: white on walls, ceilings, and floors. Deliberate hints of color are concentrated in counted elements: the large terracotta vase by Robbie Whitehead, Serra’s signature, the built-in sofa in emerald green velvet, a precious olive tree integrated into the same structure, and a GT with a green ribbon shade above the marble and wood table by Heaps & Woods.

Nagoya moves through the passage between rooms. Tekiò welcomes the living area, where a sculptural Babel and Singular keep the light low and the encounters easy. Lámina hangs over the product display, where the brand’s plants and flowers surround what it makes.

“With natural light being one of the studio’s hallmarks, we worked with Clara Quintana Studio and Santa & Cole to add extra warmth through lighting.”
