The architectures of Josep Lluís Sert, Luis Barragán, and Paul Rudolph function as territories of pictorial exploration, resonating with the legacy of Piet Mondrian as a latent visual matrix. Without explicitly citing him, his language runs through the entire exhibition as an invisible thread connecting the three architects. Sarrias’s works reveal a creative process that is an architecture in itself.

Bea Sarrias develops a body of work centered on the representation of architecture and light, where human presence is suggested through objects and silences. Influenced by twentieth-century American realism, her practice integrates research and observation to portray buildings as living scenarios filled with memory. In this project, Sarrias acts as a medium between architecture and painting, reinterpreting three forms of modernity and turning color into a living element that guides the viewer through the architectural imaginary.
