Founded in 2014, HEREU (the Catalan word for “heir”) builds its identity around Mediterranean craft heritage. Its collections of shoes, bags, and small leather goods are produced in Spain through a network of family-run workshops, where traditional techniques are translated into pieces defined by their essential character. A model that sounds rather familiar to us, and one we connect with deeply.

The new showroom in Poblenou, Barcelona, by Fuera Fos draws inspiration from mid-20th-century factory floors. 480 square meters (5,167 square feet) of workspace, archive, and exhibition space, where structural clarity, repetition of elements, and an economy of means shape an environment that recalls the logic of machinery.

From the outset, Fuera Fos chose to work with a very limited palette of materials and construction solutions — enough to shape the space, not enough to compete with what fills it. Very minimalist. It is a functional setting where architecture acts as a precise backdrop to the brand’s activity.

HEREU Studio is a place that looks like what it is: a workshop that also happens to be a brand.
