Jaume Freixa

Jaume Freixa is an architect and professor of Architectural Design at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona. He worked for 10 years (1969-1979) in the firm of Sert, Jackson and Associates in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he became head of European projects. After returning to Barcelona, he maintained his close professional and personal relationship with J.L.Sert.

Among other works, Jaume Freixa has designed and supervised both of the expansion projects for the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona. He is, moreover, the author of the book "Josep Lluís Sert"...
