M64 Color

Awarded with the Gold Delta in 1964, this lamp by Miguel Milá marked a milestone in establishing Spanish design as a professional discipline in the 1960s. In 2023, ahead of its 70th anniversary, Santa & Cole partnered with Claudia Valsells, a Barcelona-based colorist and artist, to reinterpret this classic through an in-depth color study. The result is a vibrant palette of eight shades: British racing green, reddish orange, ultramarine blue, cream yellow, and stone grey, alongside the originals tones in pure red, deep black, and off-white.

This new palette reveals a fresh visual and emotional dimension of the M64 and reaffirms the timeless formal language of Miguel Milá.
