Aüakt takes the avocado seriously. Not specifically as a menu item but as a design brief as well: something that comes from the earth, imperfect, honest about what it is. Rough outside, generous within. The restaurant, in Madrid’s Justicia district, is designed by Madrid in Love Studio with exactly that will. Bare plaster walls, peeling and unfinished. And inside that shell: caramel upholstery, soft stone tables, warm gold panels.
