Radek Hegmon was born in Zlín in 1970 and graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design of Prague in 1995. A designer of urban elements and other products for public spaces, together with David Karásek he founded Mmmcité, a company devoted to the design and production of urban elements. Many of these elements have been installed in different countries of Europe, such as the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany and Portugal. Diseñador de elementos urbanos y otros productos para espacios públicos, funda junto a David Karásek, mmcité, empresa dedicada al diseño y producción de elementos urbanos. Muchos de estos elementos se han instalado en diferentes países de Europa como la República Checa, Austria, Alemania o Portugal. Ejemplo de ello son las paradas de autobus para el centro de Brno, los bancos y las papeleras instalados en el Centro IKEA de Ostrava, o en el centro de Praga. En 1996, también junto a David Karásek, Petr Babák y Tomás Machek recibe el Premio Nacional de Diseño de la República Checa.
